10 tips to make your day more productive


Working from home is a challenge, especially for those who have never been in this position before, that's why we want to share with you 10 tips to make your day more productive. In our experience as a virtual firm  we have found this very helpful and we hope this works for you too.


1. Start your day early

Become a “morning person”

Several studies correlate waking up early to productivity and success. Early risers have an advantage -- they have extra work time and are more optimistic in general.


2. Do exercises🧎🏻‍♀️🧎🏻🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻🧘🏻‍♀️🧘🏻‍♂️

By getting up early, you have more time to exercise. It is proven that 30 minutes a day of physical activity are enough to start the day with a lot of energy, to a better mood and higher levels of productivity.


3. Create a to-do list📝

Make a list of all the things you would like to do for the day. Be honest, the list should be able to help you do all your homework, not push you with excessive tasks.


4. Keep your workspace clean and tidy.

Taking 15 minutes before work every day to clear off your desk and create a clean workspace will help you focus and avoid distractions.


5. Focus on one thing at a time1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣

Focus on getting one project finished before switching to the next. To do this well, organize your calendar and set hours for each task.

6. Keep your email inbox clean📧

Maintaining an email-free inbox is synonymous with order and that you are giving priority to answering your emails on time.


7. Shut off social media📵

You will surely think this is the most difficult part of the day, but, without a doubt, it will help you to be more productive. Set a break in your calendar, this will help you to stay informed but not distracted.


8. Put your headphones in.

Whether you want to play some tunes or not is up to you. But people are far less likely to disrupt you if they see that you’re zoned out with your headphones in.


9. Do meetings only if necessary👩🏻‍💻👨🏽‍💻

Do you know all the doubts that are resolved by sending a message? leave the meetings for the most complex questions


10. Disconnect from work and sleep 8 hours 💤

At the end of your workday, order your work space, take a shower and disconnect until the next day. Sleep 8 hours!
